RN - OR Pediatrics

Job Details:

* Variable day shifts beginning at either 6:45 AM or 8:45 AM based on department need
* Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekend shifts
* 1 to 6 weekend shifts per contract
* Ability and willingness to float to other UCSF campuses required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, PALS
* Preferred certifications: CNOR
* Required experience: Pediatric General OR
* Preferred experience: Ambulatory OR, CVOR, General OR, Pediatric CVOR, Trauma
* Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
* BSN required
* California nursing license in hand required
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal

Facility:

This children's hospital features 11 surgical suites and 2 procedural rooms with a primary focus on a multidisciplinary team-based approach to patient care. The facility offers a comprehensive range of surgical services including neurology, orthopedics and spine, otolaryngology, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, dental, cardiac, general surgery, gastrointestinal, and hematology and oncology. The organization is part of a larger university medical system with multiple campuses and maintains high standards for clinical excellence and patient care.
