Open Position: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

* Day shift position
* Patient ratio of 11 patients per day with approximately 10 visits per day
* Work within a 3-room department that does not perform nuclear cardiology exams
* Experience with PET CT and nuclear medicine required
* Experience on Siemens equipment required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* On-call required every third week
* Float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support includes radiology and transportation
* Required certifications: ARRT (N), BLS, NMTCB, PET
* Required skills include: PET scan, bone, brain, liver, renal, HIDA scan, gastric emptying, ventilation/perfusion, whole body imaging, starting and maintaining IVs, drawing venous blood, storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials, and isolation precautions/PPE

This facility operates a nuclear medicine department equipped to handle a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures. The department supports interdisciplinary care through collaboration with radiology and transportation services, serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. The facility utilizes advanced imaging technology and maintains a structured scheduling and staffing model to deliver high-quality diagnostic care.
