Open Position: RN - OR ICU/SICU

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - RN - SICU (650)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Located on the 2nd floor of Building 7
* 26-bed Surgical ICU unit
* Patient ratios of 1:2 with 1:1 ratio for high acuity patients including post-CABG patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
* Night shift team consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech
* Work with specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO
* EMR system: Meditech
* Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
* Perform procedures including chest tube management, central line care, and medication drips
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH
* TNCC preferred
* Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
* Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive attitude

The Surgical ICU unit is a 26-bed department staffed with experienced nursing professionals around the clock, providing high-acuity care to a diverse patient population. The facility utilizes advanced medical technology and equipment, including ECMO and CRRT, to support complex surgical and trauma patients.
