Job Details:

* Day shift position with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Schedule options include four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or three 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
* No night shifts available
* Subject to working weekends and/or holidays based on staffing needs
* Variable patient ratios based on patient acuities and volumes
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital BMT Oncology RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Certification
* Preferred experience includes oncology, hematology, and/or transplant cellular therapy
* Competency in IV placement preferred
* Experience in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cellular therapy administration preferred
* Experience with blood products, antibiotic, IVIG, and IVF administration preferred
* Experience working with immunocompromised patients preferred
* Perform infusions of IVIG, blood products, albumin/Lasix, electrolyte replacements, antibiotics, IV hydration, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cellular administration
* Administer Granix and Mozobil injections for transplant/cellular therapy collections
* Provide oversight for cellular procedures after required training is completed
* Work with Baxter infusion pumps
* Utilize Meditech and OncoEMR electronic medical record systems
* Ideal candidate is a team player who is compassionate, proactive, and handles high patient volumes and acuities well

Facility:

This facility operates a nationally recognized transplant and cellular therapy program, ranked among the top 15 largest programs in the nation. The infusion center provides critical outpatient infusion care services supporting transplant and liver/renal transplant programs. The team plays a vital role in supporting an apheresis program, providing oversight for stem cell collection procedures, and supporting outpatient CAR T infusions. With 55 beds, 176 infusion chairs, and a core staff of 86, the facility is committed to delivering excellent care to vulnerable patient populations.
