Job Details:

* 10 shifts with varied start times of 5:00 AM, 7:30 AM, and 10:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday shifts required
* Day, evening, and night shifts available
* No floating between units
* Floor-specific orientation provided
* 2:1 tech to pharmacist ratio (CA Law)
* Work with Cerner EMR and Omnicell dispensing cabinets
* Serve patient population including NICU, pediatrics, adults, geriatric, and oncology patients
* Sterile compounding experience desired for IV team responsibilities
* Pharmacy residency and/or BCPS certification desired
* Experience in oncology infusion centers a plus
* No new graduates will be considered
* Must hold a valid California Pharmacist license
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* Professional white coat dress code required

Facility:

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center operating 267 inpatient beds and 100 outpatient beds. The facility maintains 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory therapy services and utilizes Cerner for its charting system along with Omnicell dispensing cabinets. The organization supports a diverse patient population spanning NICU, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, and oncology, with hospitalist and intensivist coverage available in-house at all times.
