RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 36 hours guaranteed per week
* Minimum one year of recent acute care RN experience required
* At least two years of recent experience in field preferred
* Must have EPIC experience
* Perform professional nursing functions including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
* Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care responsibilities
* Obtain patient history and physical assessments according to unit-specific nursing protocols for all age groups
* Recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of cardiac or respiratory distress and other emergencies
* Demonstrate knowledge and ability to effectively function in Code Blue and other emergency situations
* Accurately administer and document medications according to hospital policies using patient's 6 rights
* Maintain clear, concise, and legible documentation and deliver accurate patient reports
* Follow infection control guidelines and complete all assigned quality monitors
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
* Current RN license in state of practice required
