Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* On-call hours from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
* Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans prescribing interventions to attain outcomes
* Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes and identify goals for patient situations
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, healing, and caring environments
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team members
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
