Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 40 hours per week
* Shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Five 8-hour shifts per week
* On-call required every other weekend and throughout the week
* Must have EPIC experience
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
* Current nursing license required per state of assignment
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans prescribing interventions to attain outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in delivering safe and caring patient care
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
