Job Details:

* Day shift position
* On-call requirement of 5 times within a 6-week period, including weekends
* Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and compassionate care
* Provide health education to patients, families, and treatment team members
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
