Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
* Night shift position working Friday through Sunday from 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM
* No on-call responsibilities required
* Must have experience with the GE EVO CT Unit
* Alternate specialty includes Diagnostic Imaging (X-ray)
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
* Required certifications: ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT), AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
* Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT) required
* Radiologic Tech (RT) state license in California required
* Advanced Certification in CT modality preferred in California
* Fluoroscopy license preferred in California
* Venipuncture certification preferred in California
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
