Opportunity:

Speech Language Pathologist

Job Details:

* Day shift Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional weekend shifts required
* Acute care experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Master's Degree or foreign equivalent required
* Two years of speech language pathology experience preferred
* Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
* American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
* Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
* Adhere to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirement guidelines
* Review patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment
* Conduct and document comprehensive patient assessments
* Assist in data collection of patient outcomes
* Instruct and direct support staff as outlined in national and state Practice Acts
* Supervise assistants and support staff
* Serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team
