Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* ASAP start needed with manager interviews required
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology required
* First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
* Perform cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and interventional radiology cases including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes
* Administer sedation and manage recovery of sedation patients
* Perform arterial access recovery
* Work with inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment required
* Weekend rotation required once per month
* On-call schedule includes 1 night per week from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and rotating weekends
* No floating requirement
* Orientation period dependent on experience
* RN supervisor on the floor to oversee traveler
* Charting system: Cerner
* Medication system: Pyxis
* Procedural scrubs provided
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS

Facility:

This facility is a licensed 70-bed hospital featuring a specialized procedural unit with 5 bays and 1 procedure room. The unit supports a wide range of cardiac and interventional radiology procedures and is staffed by a dedicated multidisciplinary team. An RN supervisor is present on the floor to provide oversight and support to traveling staff.
