Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) assignment with 15-bed unit
* Patient ratio of 2:1
* Work alongside Intensivists, Registered Nurses, Desk Techs, Respiratory Therapists, Dietary, and Case Management staff on day shift
* Utilize General CR Monitoring equipment and Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system
* Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and PALS
* CRRT experience preferred
* APHON certification preferred
* Pediatric teaching hospital experience preferred
* Must work well under pressure and in a teaching hospital environment
* Strong patient care experience is a priority

Facility:

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center housing a dedicated Pediatric ICU with 15 beds and a team of 38 staff members. The unit operates with a multidisciplinary team approach, featuring intensivists, registered nurses, and respiratory therapists across all shifts. The facility is a pediatric teaching hospital that prioritizes high-quality patient care and maintains a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
