Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Located on the 5th floor in the main hospital building
* 30-bed unit with a nursing staff of 53
* Day and night shift staffing of 4-6 RNs depending on census
* RN patient ratio of 1:6 for both day and night shifts
* Estimated patient ratios of 1:1 to 3:1 (not guaranteed)
* Work with remote telemetry equipment and Meditech EMR system
* Perform procedures including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and medical management
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care Med/Surg experience required
* BLS certification required
* Med/Surg experience and Mom/Baby experience with NRP preferred
* Surgical and medical experience preferred
* Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
* Must be outgoing with a can-do attitude and confident working independently
* Often will work with one other RN or alone with resources available on the floor but not on the unit
