Histology Tech

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM
* 13-week contract assignment
* Minimum of 2 years of experience within Pathology Laboratory specialty required
* ASCP (HT/HLT) certification required
* Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program or an Associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences required
* Receive and accession specimens from surgery into Cerner
* Collect blocks from PA staff and process tissue
* Perform embedding, cutting, and staining of slides
* Work within a department that encompasses Pathology, Cytology, and IHC
* No local candidates within 50 miles considered
