Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts with every 3rd weekend required
* Variable shift and day schedule, including weekends
* Assist in filling schedule vacancies related to staff onboarding, vacancies, and staff on FMLA
* Minimum 2 years of OB/L&D experience required
* Must be able to work in both Labor and Postpartum
* Care for postpartum, stable antepartum, newborns, GYN, Med-Surg overflow patients and may serve as 2nd RN in SCN
* Expected to float as needed, primarily as helping hands, but must be willing to take Med-Surg and Telemetry patients when needed
* Nurse-to-patient ratios follow AWHONN Standards: 1:3 mom/baby couplets, 1:5 GYN/Med-Surg patients, 1:3-4 pediatrics
* Average census includes 5 couplets, 2 pediatrics, 1 GYN, 2 labor, and 4 SCN patients
* Support staff includes ward clerk (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), CNA Tuesday through Thursday, Charge Nurse/Circulator, Resource Nurse, and LPN Scrub Nurse
* Equipment utilized includes EPIC One Chart, Omnicell, Philips Vitals Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, Responder 5 Call Light System, and Medfusion Pumps
* EPIC EMR experience required; alternative EMR experience must be noted in submission
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP; PALS preferred
* Active Minnesota RN license required; temporary or pending license may be considered depending on start date
* BSN not required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Must badge in and out at the facility
* Ability to circulate is a bonus for L&D nurses
