Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts with some day shifts required
* Every other weekend and holiday required
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Gynecology required
* Provide care for L&D patients during delivery, including high-risk patients
* Provide postpartum mom and baby care as well as gynecological surgical post-op care
* Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 for L&D, 1:3 for mom/baby couplets, up to 1:5-6 for combination of mom/babies and gynecology patients
* Must be willing to float to newborn nursery and NICU as needed
* Utilize equipment including fetal monitors, suction, oxygen, vital signs monitors, OBIX documentation and centralized monitoring for L&D, and EPIC for gynecology
* Charting system: EPIC
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for gynecology and mom/baby care or hospital-provided scrubs for L&D
* 36-hour orientation provided for travelers
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
* STABLE certification preferred but not required
* BSN not required
* Unit consists of 19 beds

This acute care facility features a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit with 19 beds, offering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services. The facility supports high-risk patient care and provides a full range of maternal and newborn services including postpartum care, gynecological surgical post-op care, a newborn nursery, and NICU. The unit utilizes modern technology including centralized fetal monitoring and an EPIC charting system to support high-quality patient care.
