CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour shifts per week on straight weekends with straight day shifts
* Holiday shifts required as needed
* Perform CT scans in the emergency department and main hospital
* Assist with morning chest X-rays in the ICU during night shifts
* Work in a very busy CT department operating 24/7 with 3 CT machines in a 500-bed hospital
* Utilize GE scanners, Sectra PACS, and EPIC charting system
* Required experience operating GE scanners
* Wear dark gray scrubs
* No floating to other units or departments
* Training period of 1-2 weeks upon start
* Trauma Level 1 acute care setting
* Required certifications: ARRT (R), CT preferred, BLS Certification

Facility:

This acute care facility is a large 500-bed hospital operating at a Trauma Level 1 designation, providing comprehensive medical services across multiple departments. The CT department is equipped with three CT machines and operates around the clock, supporting both the emergency department and ICU with advanced imaging technology. The facility uses EPIC as its charting system and maintains a collaborative team environment among its imaging technologists.
