Opportunity:

Pediatric Echo Sonographer

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday day shift, typically 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Acute care setting
* Average of 8 scans/studies performed per day
* Perform fetal and pediatric echocardiography studies
* May float or cover other areas for inpatient echo done on the unit in Children's Hospital
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* No on-call or standby requirements
* No IV starts required
* Charting system: EPIC; PACS system: iSCV
* Equipment used: Philips EPIQ7
* Department-specific orientation provided
* Phone interview required
* Scrub color: Light grey; children-appropriate scrub tops acceptable; travelers are not expected to purchase new scrubs
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* BSN not required
* Preference for candidates with fetal echo experience
* Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS, and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE)
