Opportunity:

TRAVEL - OT (766) - Wesley Rehabilitation Center - 7A - 3:30P

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Every other weekend required
* Carry up to 6-hour treatment load within an 8-hour shift
* Patient ratio of up to 6-hour treatment load per clinician
* Responsible for tracking patient time and charges to ensure each patient meets the required 3-hour therapy requirement in Inpatient Rehabilitation
* Perform evaluations and treatments including ADLs and IADLs
* Must have knowledge of ESTIM, patient lifts, ADL equipment, gym equipment, and IADL equipment
* Utilize Meditech EMR system
* Minimum 6 months of current acute care OT experience required
* Active Kansas (KS) licensure required
* BLS certification required
* Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred
* Lymphedema certification preferred
* Neuro certification or experience preferred
* Team player with flexibility for start and stop treatment times
* Hands-on clinician approach to patient treatments required

Facility:

This brand new 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility is located near the main campus and features state-of-the-art technology, including a Vector unweighted system and a fully equipped IADL kitchen. The facility operates on the first floor and supports a multidisciplinary therapy team of approximately 15 to 20 therapy staff daily across occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology disciplines. The unit is equipped with modern rehabilitation equipment and utilizes the Meditech EMR system to support high-quality patient care.
