Opportunity:

RN - Behavioral Health

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Geriatric psychiatry unit located on the 1st floor
* 120-bed facility with a staff of 50
* Patient ratios of 1:8 or 1:9 for both day and night shifts (estimated and never guaranteed)
* Work alongside RNs and Mental Health Technicians (MHTs)
* Utilize Welch Allyn vital signs machines and Meditech EMR system
* Perform behavioral health admissions and discharges
* Float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed
* Access Lead RN resources and classes provided on unit
* Minimum 1 year of current behavioral health experience required
* Strong inpatient behavioral health experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, CPI Certification (Calm Every Storm Certification also accepted)
* Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to handle varied patient acuity
* Team-player attitude and compassion are essential
