Open Position: RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology

Opportunity:

Cath Lab & IR Tech

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts required
* Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
* Call requirement: 30-minute response time, 1 weeknight per week plus 1 weekend EOW rotation
* No floating required
* 1-2 days of unit orientation provided
* Work in a 4-room Cath Lab and IR suite averaging 15-20 cases per day
* Must have experience with peripheral and coronary circulation
* Must have experience with coronary procedures, balloon pumps (IABP), and Impella
* Must be comfortable with critically ill patients
* Common equipment and procedures include laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet
* Facility is a STEMI receiving center with high monthly STEMI volume
* EMR system used: Merge Hemo and Cerner; experience with Merge is a bonus
* Imaging equipment includes Siemens/Phillips; prior experience helpful but not required
* Scrubs provided in teal blue
* Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy
* BSN not required
* Valid state license required for submission
* All onboarding modules must be completed prior to arrival - no exceptions

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology department with four fully equipped suites. The facility functions as a STEMI receiving center and maintains 24/7 support services including cardiology, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy. A designated charge nurse is available during day hours, with a circulating nurse serving in a lead capacity during after-hours operations.
