PT - Home Health

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* Manager willing to consider 4x10-hour shift schedule as an alternative
* Weekend rotation required: 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, covering both Saturday and Sunday
* No on-call responsibilities
* Holiday coverage expected: 50% of holidays during contract across 6 major and minor holidays
* 1-2 weeks of orientation provided
* Patient load of 20-25 patients per physical therapist
* Treat primarily adult patients with occasional school-aged pediatric patients
* Common diagnoses include post-orthopedic surgeries, post-surgical recovery, fall risks, deconditioning, and mobility issues
* Travel required throughout Aroostook County, with potential daily travel of 50-100 miles
* EMR system: Netsmart
* Dress code: Business casual or solid-colored scrubs
* Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required; home health experience preferred
* First-time travelers considered with the right experience
* Required credentials: BLS, Maine state PT license, Bachelor's degree or above in Physical Therapy, valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance

The facility supports its clinical staff with schedulers, PT leads, and leadership available by phone to ensure providers have the resources they need while working in the field.
