Opportunity:
PTA - Physical Therapy
Job Details:
* Setting is primarily inpatient and outpatient, with a heavy focus on the outpatient side
* May cover some skilled nursing facility (SNF) patients
* Outpatient caseload includes post-surgical, geriatric, balance, back pain, high school athletes, vestibular, and wound care patients
* Physical therapy treats a wide range of conditions including neck and back pain, sports injuries, balance and walking problems, generalized weakness, work injuries, urinary incontinence, and joint problems
* Assist patients recovering from recent surgery, auto accidents, and various orthopedic and neurological conditions
* Perform lower extremity biomechanical evaluations and custom orthotic fitting
* Utilize techniques such as kinesio-taping and ASTYM to reduce pain and improve functional mobility
* Provide Functional Dry Needling for muscle injuries and chronic pain
* Assist with LSVT BIG rehabilitation for patients with Parkinson's disease
* One-hour time blocks for outpatient visits and 45-minute blocks for inpatient visits
* Productivity expectations of 65?75% (not strictly required)
* Must be a licensed PTA in the State of Nebraska or a compact state
* Active BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA) required
* New graduates will be considered
