Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

* Work in a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit on the 3rd floor
* Maintain a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on both day and night shifts
* Work alongside a Charge Nurse Coordinator (CNC) on all shifts
* 2 weekend shifts required biweekly
* No on-call responsibilities
* Wear royal blue scrubs as required by dress code
* Operate and manage equipment including GE monitors, EV1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz, Art lines, chest tubes, and ventilators
* Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR system
* Perform hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, arterial line, and chest tube management
* Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty)
* Ventilator experience and arterial/central line/chest tube management skills required
* CVICU specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella experience preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* BSN and CCRN preferred
* Must be a team player who works well in a collaborative care environment
* Float coverage to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac PCU as needed
