Opportunity:

Rad Tech - CT/X-Ray

Job Details:

* Urgent start needed with manager interviews required
* Three 12-hour shifts per week, primarily days with overnight coverage as needed
* Up to every other weekend rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* CT and X-ray experience preferred
* 4-week scheduling cycles
* Orientation period of 1 to 1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level
* Holiday scheduling done in rotation with other technologists
* RTO requires manager approval
* Care areas include Emergency Department, Outpatient, and Inpatient settings
* Primarily adult and geriatric patient population with some pediatric and neonatal patients
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) and (CT)
* Maine state license required
* Skills required: CTA studies and experience with general studies
* IV start skills preferred
* Experience with Siemens CT and X-ray equipment preferred
* EMR system: Cerner
* PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA
* Equipment used: Siemens Definition CT with Medrad Injector, Siemens YSIO DR Room, Shimadzu Portable, OEC and Siemens C-Arms
* Support available including Lead Tech, department administration, multiple CT/DX techs per shift, internal transport, and on-site radiologist
* Scrub color: any solid professional color or provided by facility if needed
* Free parking available

Facility:

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center that receives air flights and serves two-thirds of the state, functioning as the closest trauma center within a two-hour radius. It is also a Certified Stroke Center with 411 beds and imaging capabilities that include CT, diagnostic X-ray, and portable equipment. The facility supports a high-acuity patient population across emergency, outpatient, and inpatient care settings with multiple technologists and on-site radiologists available on every shift.
