Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM plus required call
* 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
* Call required: one night per week and up to every other weekend
* Up to every other weekend and holiday requirement
* Unit: Cath Lab with 3 rooms
* Floor-specific orientation: 2 shifts
* Acute care setting
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* BSN not required
* Radiation badge required and supplied by agency
* Scrubs provided by facility
* EMR systems: Cerner and Merge Hemodynamics for Cath Lab documentation
* Common diagnoses and patient types include diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath (high acuity), TAVR and Mitraclip procedures, peripheral vascular, chest pain center accredited, STEMI tertiary referral center, and procedures including Rotablator, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and Balloon Pump
* Approximately 3,000 cases per year
* Cardiovascular Techs or Rad Techs with Cath Lab experience on staff
* Intensivist in house
* IV Team, RT 24/7, and Pharmacy 24/7 available on site
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

This acute care facility features a fully equipped Cath Lab with 3 procedure rooms and handles approximately 3,000 cases per year. The facility is a STEMI tertiary referral center and a chest pain center-accredited institution, offering advanced cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. Comprehensive support services are available around the clock, including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and an IV team, ensuring a well-supported environment for both staff and patients.
