Job Details:
* Position is 0.6 FTE, approximately 24 hours per week
* Schedule is Monday through Friday with flexibility for Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday
* Approximately 5 hours per day based on hospital census
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* No block schedules required
* Patient ratios of 1:5-10
* Approximately 5 patient visits per day
* Primary work location is inpatient therapy with potential to float to other facilities based on need and therapist ability
* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
* Patient diagnoses include deconditioning, weakness, impaired balance, impaired mobility, sepsis, COPD, CHF, PVD, and post-operative care including THA, hip fracture ORIF, TKA, shoulder, and spine
* Works within an interdisciplinary therapy team consisting of PT, OT, and SLP
* Special equipment includes Hoyer lifts, Sara/Stedi lifts, parallel bars, therapy stairs, stationary bike, and NuStep
* Scrub color: any color
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* No parking fee
* Required certifications: BLS, Washington State License
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
Facility:
This is a critical access rural hospital with 23 total staff beds and a daily census of approximately 5 patients. The facility features a collaborative interdisciplinary support structure including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and a unit secretary. The therapy department works together to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to a lower acuity inpatient population.
