Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with call requirements
* One weekday call shift required per week
* One weekend call shift required per month (Friday through Sunday)
* 30-minute call response time required; facility provides a call room
* Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
* Float to General OR as needed; in extreme need, may float within Zone 3 locations
* Work in a 16-suite OR performing approximately 30 cases per day
* Common cases include hearts, vascular, thoracic, general, neuro, spine, robotics, and orthopedics
* Open heart and endovascular experience required
* Charting performed in EPIC
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Orientation includes both CVOR and General OR
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA, CO DORA license
* BSN not required
* Driver's license must be submitted; 60-mile radius requirement applies

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a large cardiovascular operating room environment with 16 suites and a high-volume caseload of approximately 30 cases per day. The department handles a wide range of complex surgical procedures including cardiovascular, thoracic, neurological, spine, robotic, and orthopedic cases. The facility supports both self-scheduling and block scheduling to provide flexibility for its surgical team while maintaining comprehensive specialty coverage.
