Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Night shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotation
* Active Illinois RN licensure required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
* Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification required
* Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
* Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and State practice act
* Document according to standards of care
* Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
* Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physician and/or clinic policy, including patient and family instruction
* Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
* Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
* Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, escalating concerns to the appropriate chain of command
* Participate in the professional nursing continuum process, unit practice activities, decisions, and peer review process
