Opportunity:

Inpatient Rehab Speech Therapist

Job Details:

* Work on a 44-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit on the 5th floor of the main hospital building
* Day shift position with a patient ratio of 1:8-10
* Assist with rotating weekends, typically one shift per month
* Evaluate and treat multiple diagnoses related to swallowing and speech language
* Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) Studies
* Utilize specialized equipment including MBS Suite, Vital Stim, IOPI, EMST150, and Bioness BITs
* Virginia license and CCC certification required
* Experience with adult population and medical settings required
* Neurological experience preferred
* Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
* Patient-focused, team-oriented, and flexible personality preferred
* May float to acute hospital settings as needed
* Dress code: black scrub bottoms with royal blue scrub top preferred, though other colors accepted
