Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - PT (762) - Wesley Rehabilitation Center - 7A - 3:30P

Job Details:

* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Every other weekend is required
* 8-hour shifts with up to 6-hour treatment load per day
* Work on a 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit on the first floor
* Carry out evaluation and treatment, daily gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training
* Responsible for tracking patient time and charges to ensure each patient meets the 3-hour therapy requirement for inpatient rehabilitation
* Must be knowledgeable in ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital machines
* EMR system used is Meditech Magic
* Minimum 6 months of current acute care PT experience required
* BLS certification required
* Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred
* Neuro certification or experience preferred
* Must be a team player with flexibility for start and stop treatment times
* Hands-on clinician approach required

Facility:

This is a brand new 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility located near the main campus, featuring state-of-the-art technology including a Vector unweighted system and a fully equipped IADL kitchen. The facility supports a multidisciplinary therapy team of approximately 15-20 therapy staff daily across physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology disciplines. The unit maintains a structured patient care environment where patients receive a minimum of 3 hours of therapy per day.
