Job Details:

* Work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on a variable schedule
* 13-week assignment
* Both local and travel candidates are accepted for this position
* Minimum of 15 to 18 months of recent experience within specialty required
* Prior acute care experience is highly desirable
* MBS/FEES proficiency is a plus but not required
* Support acute care patients from physician orders throughout the hospital
* Work with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses including ICU patients, stroke/neurological conditions, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive conditions
* Required certifications: AHA BLS
* Georgia SLP license and CCC-SLP required

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a dedicated acute care speech-language pathology department supporting patients across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties. The department works collaboratively with physicians and clinical teams throughout the hospital to provide comprehensive speech therapy services to patients with complex and diverse medical needs, including those in intensive care settings.
