Opportunity:

CONTRACT - RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY (671) - 13 WEEKS - 7:00P-7:00A

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule with alternating weekends
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Work on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit on the 4th floor
* Charge nurse and co-charge nurse support on both day and night shifts
* Perform procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
* Required to use equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and Ultrasound
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring
* Must have EFM competency, SVE competency, and C-section circulation experience
* Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery required
* Internal monitor placement competency preferred
* Experience in a Level IV high-volume unit preferred
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only; t-shirts are not acceptable

Facility:

This facility is a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with 32 beds and a staff of 150, offering a dynamic and supportive work environment. The unit maintains a 1:2 patient ratio and is equipped with modern technology including Novii, JADA, and Fetal Pillow systems. The unit operates with structured leadership, including charge nurses and co-charge nurses on both day and night shifts, and offers a collaborative team environment for experienced Labor and Delivery nurses.
