Opportunity:

Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

Job Details:

* Work scheduled shifts on Monday/Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday/Saturday from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM
* Perform vascular ultrasound evaluations with Doppler and physiologic testing
* Write preliminary reports and communicate acute findings to the care team
* Obtain pertinent patient health history prior to each examination
* Prepare procedure room and equipment for daily use and ensure timely and efficient room preparation between procedures
* Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems and report to appropriate supervisor
* May perform staff training and education
* Minimum 3-4 years of vascular experience required
* Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field required, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program
* Required certifications: BLS and one of the following: RDCS certified through ARDMS, RVT certified through ARDMS, or RCS/ACS/RCCS certified through CCI
* Must be able to read, write, and speak English
