Opportunity:

RN - Clinical Nurse

Job Details:

* Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting
* Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
* Perform patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
* Develop and update plans of care in collaboration with patients and families
* Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans
* Consult with appropriate resources for patients with complex care issues or high discharge planning risk
* Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions for evaluation of patient care
* Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
* Identify and address cultural and ethnic issues in planning patient care
* Participate in performance improvement activities and unit goal development
* Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
* Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred
* Active Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required
* English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking required
