RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Rotating day shifts Monday through Friday
* Rotating weekend call from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday
* On-call schedule includes 1 night per week from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and rotating weekends
* Weekend rotation once per month
* No floating requirement
* Orientation period dependent on experience
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology required
* First-time travelers will not be considered
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Skills required include cardiac cath, angiograms, and IR cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes
* Must be experienced in administration of sedation and recovery of sedation patients
* Arterial access recovery experience required
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team required
* Charting system: Cerner
* Medication dispensing system: Pyxis
* Procedural scrubs provided
* Free parking available

Facility:

This facility is a 70-licensed-bed healthcare organization featuring a specialized procedural unit with 5 bays and 1 procedure room. The unit supports inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patient populations and is overseen by an RN supervisor who provides support to traveling nurses. The facility maintains a structured and collaborative environment with a focus on interventional and cardiac procedural care.
