Opportunity:
RN - Pediatric CVOR
Job Details:
* Work day shifts with 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* Weekend rotation is call only
* On-call requirement of 1 call shift per week (end of shift through following morning) and 2 weekends per 6-week period (end of shift Friday through Monday morning)
* 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts
* Float to General OR to assist with cases when not busy in CVOR
* Minimum 3 years of Pediatric CVOR experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted unless candidate has 5 or more years of Pediatric CVOR experience
* Patient types include neonates through age 18, including adult-sized patients, infants, developmentally delayed patients, and patients with congenital anomalies
* Cardiothoracic cases include Tetralogy of Fallot, pericardial window, transposition of great vessels, open heart valve repairs, ECMO, PDA ligation through thoracotomy, and ASD repairs
* Highly preferred skills include IV start experience, scrubbing, arterial line experience, and circulating experience with above patient types
* EMR system used is EPIC
* Scrub colors provided by facility
* Free parking available on-site
* Required certifications: BLS, PALS, CNOR (preferred)
* Washington State or compact RN license required

This facility operates as a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU, providing advanced surgical and critical care services to a diverse pediatric population.
