Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

4S CV Med Tele RN

Job Details:

* 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
* 36 hours guaranteed per week
* 1:5 patient ratio
* Float to similar telemetry units within scope as needed
* Care for adult and geriatric patients across pulmonary, cardiac, medicine, and med/surg specialties
* Work on a full telemetry floor with centralized monitoring supported by a telemetry tech
* Unit utilizes team nursing model
* Must have experience with Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
* Must have experience with cardiac telemetry, Heparin protocols, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Cardiac telemetry experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (both must be through American Heart Association)
* WV or Compact RN License required; pending license accepted for submission
* Scrub color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
* Charting system: Cerner
* Parking is free for travelers
* Holiday RTO requests limited to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays
* Manager cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests
