Job Details:
* 4x10 night shifts with call and weekend coverage required as needed for the department
* Float between two locations: Lawrence and Memorial Hospital (CT) and Westerly Hospital (RI)
* Must obtain both Connecticut and Rhode Island state licenses; may begin with whichever license issues first while the other is pending
* Minimum 1.5 years of hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
* Experience with GE and Siemens equipment required; GE Optima CT660 scanner used in department
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Level III trauma center with 252 total staffed beds
* Free parking available
* Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics
* Night patient ratio: 2; Weekend patient ratio: 2
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, RI and CT licenses
* Skills required include: 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, abdomen/chest/pelvis CT with and without contrast, vascular CTA, coronary CTA, trauma imaging, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, venipuncture, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
* Special procedures include Stroke Center and Trauma Center capabilities
* Special equipment includes ceiling Hoyer lift

This short-term acute care Level III trauma center operates 252 staffed beds and is part of a large, reputable health system. The facility is equipped with advanced imaging technology and supports a wide range of specialty services including stroke care and trauma services. Interdisciplinary support teams including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams are available to assist clinical staff in delivering comprehensive patient care.
