Open Position: RN - Med Surg

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2525.40

Opportunity:

RN - Oncology (Radiation/Outpatient)

Job Details:

* Work in an outpatient radiation oncology department seeing approximately 50 patients per day
* RN duties include starting IVs, providing patient education, triaging patient calls, and wound care
* Skin wound care experience preferred
* No weekend shifts required
* No floating required
* No on-call required
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated - must be fully flexible
* 3 years of oncology RN experience required; Med/Surg oncology experience accepted
* Active California RN license required - no pending or temporary licenses accepted
* Required certifications: BLS; ONC certification preferred; ACLS preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
* Key clinical skills include: peripheral IV starts, venipuncture, wound assessment and care, radiation safety precautions, outpatient oncology, radiation oncology, monitoring medication side effects, and management of nausea/vomiting, neuropathy, and nutritional status
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response teams, social services, and interpretation services
* Patients served are adults
