Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* General Emergency Department serving combined adult and pediatric patients
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Every other weekend required
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
* Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
* Charting system experience required - Meditech
* Must be proficient in blood product administration, central line care and management, phlebotomy, and starting and maintaining IVs
* Must have efficient trauma and med-surge skills including pediatric skills
* Must be comfortable treating patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and transportation

Facility:

This facility operates a 13-bed general emergency department providing comprehensive care for both adult and pediatric patients. The department maintains a daily census of approximately 30 patients and is supported by a full range of interdisciplinary services including respiratory services, radiology, phlebotomy, and interpretation services. The facility is committed to delivering high-quality emergency care across all patient age groups in a community hospital setting.
