RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Day shift position with 36-48 guaranteed hours per week
* Backfill position requiring experience in both EPIC and Cerner systems
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and safety
* Evaluate patient progress toward attaining outcomes and identify patient-specific goals
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing, and caring environment
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved AH vendor), AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required

This facility is a 49-bed acute care hospital supported by 60 clinics across 27 rural communities, offering both primary and specialty care services throughout the region. The facility utilizes both EPIC and Cerner electronic health record systems to support comprehensive patient care delivery.
