Registered Nurse

Job Details:

* Full-time schedule including every other weekend
* Must be willing to float between units and take charge responsibilities
* One year of psychiatric experience required
* Must be willing to work every other holiday and every other weekend
* Must be willing to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
* RN license within the State of Massachusetts required; BSN preferred
* CPR certification required
* Previous psychiatric/substance inpatient experience preferred
* Restraint reduction de-escalation/crisis intervention experience preferred
* Provide direct and indirect care to patients/families/legal guardians
* Maintain safe therapeutic milieu grounded in behavioral health core principles
* Work collaboratively as member of multi-disciplinary treatment team
* Contribute to individual treatment plans by developing, implementing, and documenting appropriate goals and interventions
* Apply nursing process from Trauma Informed Recovery model of care
* Develop therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
* Utilize Electronic Medical Record systems effectively
