Opportunity:

RN - Perinatal

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Full-time position
* Practice independently in a perinatal clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care
* Provide routine and complex nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness
* Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
* 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
* Perinatal RN Residency or recent experience in a perinatal setting preferred
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
* Required certifications: Current AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), NRP, ACLS (AHA only), and BLS (AHA only)
* RN License in the state of TX or compact license required
