Opportunity:

745C Sleep Disorder Lab - Polysomnographic Tech

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Variable schedule Thursday through Saturday nights
* Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty required
* Prepare adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and equipment for sleep disorders testing
* Monitor polysomnogram and document per policy
* Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
* Demonstrated expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations
* Required certification: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Must possess current and unrestricted certification or registration as a Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
* Must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
* Must also work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
