Job Details:

* Day shift position, Monday through Friday, 5 x 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Inpatient setting at an acute 25-bed critical access hospital
* No on-call required
* Administer various APTA standard physical therapy treatments for disabilities, injuries, and diseases
* Work to relieve pain, restore motor function, and maintain optimal patient performance
* Works under limited supervision
* Interpret patient physician orders for physical therapy and develop effective treatment plans
* Organize and monitor the work of others as needed
* Must relate effectively with patients, nurses, physicians, and other hospital staff in a courteous, professional manner
* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Physical therapy degree required
* Current BLS certification required
* Current California Physical Therapy license or eligibility for registration required
* One to two years of related experience preferred; experience with inpatient care is a strong plus
* Valid California driver's license and evidence of automobile insurance required when travel is needed
* APTA membership preferred
* Strong oral and written communication skills required
