Job Details:
* Work in a 101-bed emergency department with patient ratios of 4:1 for medical patients and up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
* Every other weekend scheduling required with flexibility to meet department needs
* No block scheduling available
* Must be open to floating to all sections within the ED (no floating outside of the ED)
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year of ER experience required
* 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high volume 100,000+ visit ED preferred
* Previous HCA experience preferred
* Must have teamwork mentality with ability to coach and give feedback in real time
* Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED required
* Use of Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system
* Techs available in cardiac monitoring unit, internal processing area, triage, and unit clerks on days and nights
* Follow AIDET patient experience standards and maintain updated patient boards throughout each visit
* Navy scrubs required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all before start date), and ENPC (within 90 days of hire)
