Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* No on-call required
* 4 weekend shifts per schedule
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Required certifications: ALS, BLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS
* Minimum 1 year of ED experience required; 2 years preferred
* Perform procedures including cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation
* Work with Welch Allyn/GE equipment and Meditech EMR system
* Navy blue scrubs required
* Ideal candidate is a team player with a flexible, positive, and upbeat demeanor

Facility:

This emergency department operates a 23-bed unit staffed by a well-balanced team of approximately 40 nursing professionals. The facility is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Level IV Trauma Center, and has received 2023 Mission: Lifeline Systems of Care Recognition for AHA CAD performance. The unit fosters a close-knit, collaborative culture with dedicated charge nurses who support self-scheduling, and maintains strong provider-nursing collaboration through a monthly Unit Based Council.
