Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Work on a 30-bed Med/Surg unit located on the 3rd floor of Tower A
* Patient ratio of 6:1
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-5 RNs based on unit census, 2 PCTs, 1 HUC, and 1-3 sitters
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-5 RNs when unit is at full census, 2 PCTs, and 1-3 sitters depending on patient population
* Floating requirement based on the needs of the facility
* No on-call requirement
* Work with equipment including Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform and assist with typical unit procedures including post-surgical care (cholecystectomy, cystoscopy with stent placement), pain management, and CIWA patient monitoring
* Required certification: BLS
* Must have Med/Surg or acute care RN experience
* Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment preferred
* Med/Surg or acute care experience preferred
* Prior HCA experience preferred
